“Got a Notice to Repair notification from DPW recently. Sidewalk repair mostly caused by tree root damage. It's the city's responsibility to repair the sidewalk for tree root damage. But they pointed ouzt that I was responsible for damage caused by “wear and tear”. I was given a list of recommended concrete businesses and called and emailed at least 15 of them. Lewis M Merlo was the only one considerate enough to reply. Owen D. came out and gave me an estimate. The job is done and I’m happy with the results. Highly recommended!”

I wholeheartedly recommend Merlo. They repaired and reinforced a secondary retaining wall in our garage and did a truly excellent job. Their bid, among others collected, was extremely competitive & for no additional charge they provided extra rebar reinforcement. They thoroughly repaired other minor cracks not indicated by our engineer. Merlo’s project manager, Owen, was a delight to work with, too--courteous, prompt & thoroughly knowledgeable & professional.
